Mamapapacola Advertising
Mamapapacola is an idea-driven creative agency based in Berlin, and the creator of the Design Hotels “Made by Originals” global advertising campaign. For The Papaya Playa Project, mamapapacola was asked to connect Design Hotels with Berlin fixtures such as Kater Holzig and Club der Visionaere, the goal being to fill the five-month pop-up project with stories. Bob Shahrestani and Gabor Thier, the founders of mamapapacola, are known for their eclectic events, such as Berlin, Beats & Boats, and for their advertising, graphic design, and web-design projects. The two founders are inspired by agencies such as Tomato, in London, which brings together talent across industries and is involved in everything from film to architecture to music. At mamapapacola, there’s no idea too big and no project too small.
